Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AVFlow (“AVFlow”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information in connection with avflow.dev, the Console, and the Jobs API (the “Services”). It does not cover processing we perform solely as a processor on Customer Content (media inside your Jobs) on your instructions — you are the controller for that data and must provide your own notices to End Users.
1. Information we collect
Account and Console
When you register we collect email, name (if provided), hashed credentials, and session tokens. If you sign in with Google or GitHub we receive the profile identifiers those providers share (typically name, email, and provider user id) under their OAuth consent.
Jobs and usage
We store Job specifications, status, usage ticks, and billing line items needed to run and price pipelines. Customer Content (audio, video, transcripts produced by your Jobs) is processed to provide the Service and is retained only as needed to complete the Job and support debugging, unless you configure a sink that stores output in your own bucket.
Payments
We do not store complete card numbers. Prepaid credit checkout is handled by our merchant of record. We receive confirmation of purchase (amount, currency, transaction id, and the account to credit), not your full payment instrument.
Automatically collected
The website and API run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP address, user agent, and security telemetry as described in their documentation. We use this to operate, secure, and debug the Services.
2. How we use information
- Create and authenticate your account;
- Run Jobs, meter usage, and apply credit;
- Send service email (verification, password reset, operational notices);
- Detect abuse, enforce Terms, and comply with law;
- Improve reliability and documentation (aggregated metrics, not training on your media).
We do not sell personal information and do not use Customer Content to train foundation models.
3. Sharing
We share information with:
- Infrastructure: Cloudflare (Workers, DNS, media containers) to host the Services;
- Auth providers: Google or GitHub if you choose social login;
- Email delivery: Cloudflare Email Sending for transactional mail from noreply@avflow.dev;
- Payments: our merchant of record, only when you buy credit;
- AI vendors you enable on a Job (for example speech or translation providers), limited to the streams that Job needs;
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect the Services and other users.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is open and for a reasonable period afterward for invoices, security, and legal claims. Job media in our workers is ephemeral except where a sink writes to your storage. Usage records needed for billing are kept to support the Console usage history.
5. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other regions where Cloudflare and subprocessors operate. If you require a specific residency, contact support@avflow.dev before sending regulated media.
6. Your choices
- Update profile details in Console;
- Close your account by emailing support (we will delete or anonymize account data we do not need to retain);
- Unsubscribe from optional product email using the link in the message;
- Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Email support@avflow.dev.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16. Do not create an account for a child.
8. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes to how we use personal information will be called out in Console or by email when practicable.
