Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and AVFlow (“AVFlow”, “we”, “us”) for the website at avflow.dev, the Console, the Jobs API, and related real-time media pipeline services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or submitting a Job you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Purchases of prepaid credit are processed by our merchant of record. Their checkout terms apply to the payment itself. These Terms still govern your use of the Services after credit is applied to your account.

1. The Services

AVFlow runs Jobs — JSON documents that describe sources, optional processing nodes, and sinks. We provide API access, a web Console, usage metering, and hosted infrastructure to execute those Jobs. We may change, limit, or discontinue features. Documentation at avflow.dev describes current capabilities.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18, or the age of digital consent in your location if higher.
• If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
• Keep API keys and login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including Jobs started with your keys.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, exhaust credit without payment, abuse infrastructure, or create legal or security risk.

3. Acceptable use

You may not, and may not allow others to:

• use the Services for unlawful content, fraud, or to violate others’ rights;
• probe, overload, or interfere with our infrastructure, or circumvent usage and concurrency limits;
• resell the raw Services as a stand-alone competing pipeline host without our consent;
• submit malware, or media you do not have the right to process (including third-party streams and copyrighted works without authorization);
• use Jobs to capture, record, or transcribe people without required notices and consents.

You are responsible for End Users of applications you build on AVFlow. A violation by an End User is treated as a violation by you.

4. Your content

“Customer Content” is media, metadata, Job specs, and other data you or your End Users submit. You retain ownership of Customer Content. You grant us a limited license to host, transcode, mix, transmit, and store Customer Content solely to operate the Services for you (including subprocessors such as cloud infrastructure and optional AI providers you enable).

We do not use Customer Content to train foundation models. Diagnostic logs may include Job identifiers and technical metrics; they are not used as training corpora.

5. Third-party services

Jobs may connect to LiveKit, Daily, Agora, object storage, AI vendors, and similar providers using credentials you supply or platform-managed keys. Those providers’ terms apply. We are not responsible for outages or policies of third-party rooms, CDNs, or models.

6. Fees and credit

Usage is priced as described on Pricing and the rate card. New accounts receive promotional prepaid credit as stated on Pricing. Credit is consumed before any owed balance. Unused promotional credit has no cash value except as in the Refund Policy.

Prices are USD list rates before tax. Tax may be added at checkout by the merchant of record. We may update list prices with notice on the Pricing page; already-running Jobs keep the rate version stamped at settlement.

7. Credit and fair use

Registered accounts may use all documented Job types, including managed ASR, Translate, and Voice Agent nodes, while prepaid credit remains. New Jobs are rejected when credit is exhausted. Concurrent Jobs are capped as described on Pricing. We may suspend accounts that abuse infrastructure or violate these Terms.

8. Warranties and liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”. Real-time media depends on networks we do not control. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AVFLOW’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER, YOUR UNUSED PREPAID CREDIT). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST MEDIA, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify AVFlow against claims arising from Customer Content, your Jobs, your End Users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes to paid features will be announced in Console or by email when we have a working address on file.
